Anthony Bottrill has a 1977 conviction for manslaughter and a 2000 conviction for murder.
In 1977 Dale Patrick Martin and Anthony Bottrill stabbed their gay male hosts after a meal of bacon and eggs in a London flat. He sentenced to 5 years.
In December 2000 Anthony Bottrill murdered Bryan Scott who he shot twice at close range with a shotgun at Kirkleatham Showground near Redcar.
Evidence against him included the fact that Bryan Scott was a drug dealer and Anthony Bottrill had had a relationship with the ex-wife of one of Bryan Scotts rival drug dealers.
He has continued to declare his innocence.
